Produced an on-the-fly programming session for six attendees. We made music for 2 hours. Half the group offered feedback.

Furthered understanding of social and technical aspects of hosting a public server. Cultivated aptitude for value-aligned audience engagement.

Meeting Participant – Typesetting Meeting

August 17th – August 23rd: Lutten, NL
Made a typeset document on-the-fly with a typesetting language and a Python script. Revised existing project and bettered iterative design skills.

Synth Building – Deershed Festival

July 25th – July 29th: York, UK
Managed synth building space. Supervised two or three volunteers each day in supporting kids and adults to build 80 “Atari Punk” synths.

Curator – Scatter Chatter at Roodkapje’s Cucumber Time

Employed a light-touch curatorial strategy and brought an audience of 35 to an off-season performance in a bar.

Artist/Programmer – Printer Jam

May 5th – June 1st: Karlsruhe, DE
Executed live art in response to why printers never work. Made rhythmical analogue music from printer components and digital signal processing.

Book Production – Onésimus Chess Club

February 1st – February 21st: Rotterdam, NL
Designed two 100-page Chess Diaries encased in soft fabric embossed with foil press. Worked with club member.

2023

Zine Maker – Zine Camp at WORM

October 21st – November 5th: Rotterdam, NL
Made 27-page zine with paper from the road. Cut each page into thirds with text verso and graphs recto.

Postgraduate Student – Radio WORM

September 12th – Janurary 15th 2024: Rotterdam, NL
Participated in self-directed research making 13 radio shows with peers. Prototyped a podcast-generating shell script to bind the shows.

Student/Publisher – Contemporary Other at Ugly Duck

March 15th – April 17th: London, UK
Assembled texts and images from peers into a typeset book. Multi- tasked and supported classmates in advance of hard deadline.

2022

Student/Performer – Contemporary Other at Ugly Duck

December 20th – April 18th 2023: London, UK
Rehearsed on-the-fly programming for a showcase. Made music with Tidal Cycles for 20-minutes and was met with a standing ovation.

Wrote an essay featuring three case studies on software and performance. The essay became a basis of professional and future practice.
